Commercial Realty Services (CRS), a Mt. Juliet based developer, has started construction on the 0.84 acre lot in Sylvan Park. This mixed-use development will bring approximately 26,000 square-feet of new retailers, restaurants and office space to the heart of the Charlotte Avenue growth corridor scheduled to be completed summer 2017.

“The Charlotte Ave corridor continues to be one of the most dynamic in the city and we are very excited to be launching another development project in the heart of the corridor,” said Kenneth Powers, founder and president of Commercial Realty Services. As previously announced, the fast-growing office technology supplier NovaCopy Inc. will be the anchor tenant for the three-story development. The Nashville-based company will occupy the top two floors totaling approximately 20,000 square feet at the building, which will be developed by a partnership in
which NovaCopy CEO Darren Metz is part owner.

Sylvan Station will also include a roughly 7,500-square-foot ground floor with three suites for restaurant or retail tenants. CRS is excited to announce the newest tenant joining this project, Five Points Pizza. “Five Points Pizza is a great local business and as another local business we are thrilled to have them as a part of our Sylvan Station project,” said Will Tyner, development manager and partner at Commercial Realty Services.

The new Five Points Pizza Sylvan Station location will be approximately 4,600-square-foot and will offer an expanded dining room, an outdoor patio, and a counter side to streamline carry out operations and provide space for large orders.

“We opened Five Points Pizza in 2011 in the heart of the East Nashville community, and we love the loyal customer base we have built there,” said David Tieman, co-owner of Five Points Pizza. “We are so grateful for all the Nashvillians that love our pizza and support our local pizza shop each day, and we have them to thank for the opportunity to expand to the west side of the city.”
The menu of Five Points Pizza at Sylvan Station is expected to stay the same as the East Nashville location, with daily slice specials offered in addition to the more than 20 specialty pies, stromboli and salad offerings on the current menu. Five Points Pizza’s commitment to local and craft beer will also be showcased at the new location.

“We’re excited to finally break ground on our new headquarters,” said Metz. “And, we’re certainly looking forward to the addition of Five Points Pizza as part of the Sylvan Station project.”
